To be eligible for this offer, you must not:

-Switch from a Halifax or Bank of Scotland current account

-Have received a switching offer since April 2020 for switching to any Lloyds, Bank of Scotland or Halifax Bank account

1. Ensure the account you are switching from has 3+ active Direct Debits. If not, you can set them up here.

2. Open a new Club Lloyds, Club Lloyds Silver, Club Lloyds Platinum or Lloyds Premier account by phone, online, or in-branch (online is the easiest).

3. Switch in an account from a different bank (not Halifax or Bank of Scotland), including 3+ Direct Debits (you must start the switch by 28 July).

4. £185 is credited to your account within 10 working days of the switch completing.

The Lloyds accounts involved in this offer are paid accounts that come with certain benefits.

If you are looking purely to make money, then the 'Club Lloyds' account is the cheapest, with a £5 monthly fee that is refunded to you if you pay in £2,000. You can transfer this money in and straight back out to trigger your refund.

Alternatively, the Club Lloyd's Silver account appears to offer the greatest value for money at £16.50 per month. £5 of this is refundable by paying in £2,000, as described above. This brings the total monthly accout cost to £11.50.
