You are NOT eligible if:

• You’ve opened a Barclays Current Account before 15 July 2025
• You’ve taken up a switching offer from us in the past
• You’re opening a joint account 
• You’re under 18 years old
• You live outside the UK.

You need to follow these steps by 28 August 2025:

• Step 1 : Open a Barclays Bank Account or Premier Current Account in the Barclays app

• Step 2 : If you’ve opened a Barclays Bank Account, join Blue Rewards for £5 a month

• Step 3 : Complete a full switch in the Barclays app, including at least two Direct Debits. If the account you are switching does not have 2+ direct debits, you can set them up here.

• Step 4 : Pay £1,500 into your new account

You should receive the £175 within 28 working days of completing all of the steps.

-You must start the switch by 28th August and complete all steps within 30 days.

-To get the £175 you'll need to join its Blue Rewards scheme. It costs £5 a month, requires you to pay in at least £800 a month and register for online banking.
